Sometimes no plan is a great plan!

After breakfast and coffee on the back deck we pack up the car to head to Georgetown. Today we have multiple tasks to accomplish if we want to have some beach time!

We shop at a local home store and purchase a couple of tropical bedside lamps. We visit Exuma Building Supplies to purchase water and refill our BBQ tank. In town we buy some groceries and stop into BTC to follow up on our wifi account. Next stop beach bar?!

Part way home is the magnificent Hoopers Bay! We unload our cooler, beach chairs and umbrella from the car and walk the path from the main road down to the beach. OMG we missed this place! We set up our chairs and grab a cold kalik from the cooler. We reminisce about our previous up close and personal experiences with the Hoopers Bay sea turtles. Will we see them again!?

On the way home we stop into Prime Island Meats to pick up tonight’s dinner. Rib steak, baked potato and Hamburger!

Once we arrive at home we take some time to hang up our new bedroom blackout curtains before we make dinner. What a difference and long overdue!

I always look forward to the outdoor shower at the end of the day with a cold glass of wine.

We barbecue steak and hamburger on the deck and enjoy the sunset.

Cozy on the couch we face time family and put a movie on television. I enjoy another glass of wine while Heather has her usual rum punch! It’s a beautiful evening. We grab our drinks and do our routine ‘walk about” while stargazing and listening to sounds of the ocean waves.

What an amazing day! Unplanned days are sometimes the best. What’s in store for tomorrow!? We have lots of chores to scratch of the list but we have to squeeze in some time for us!
